Launch of the Anti-Scam Helpline and TV Commercial
To combat the rising number of scams, a new anti-scam helpline and television commercial were launched at NCPC’s annual Festive Season Crime Prevention Campaign on 20 November 2016.
The anti-scam helpline 1800-722-6688 operates Monday – Friday (except on public holidays), from 9am – 5pm.

About CYRO Quest
To prevent cybercrimes and educate youths on using the internet safely, NCPC collaborated with a group of Nanyang Polytechnic students to develop a mobile game app – CYRO Quest. Targeting children from 10 to 12 years old, the game app is free for download on iTunes and Google Play stores.
NCPC has received positive feedback on the game and news on the launch was carried widely by mainstream media including the Straits Times, Channel U, Channel 8, Channel NewsAsia, Lianhe Zaobao and FM93.8.
