Crime Prevention Ambassadors (CPAs) Appointment Ceremony
Implemented in 2002, the National Crime Prevention Council’s CPA scheme aims to recruit and train volunteers to spread crime prevention messages to the public. They are trained to perform duties such as the sharing of experiences with members of the public at crime prevention talks and exhibitions.
A total of 138 CPAs were appointed last Saturday. GOH for the event was Mr Hri Kumar Nair, Chairman Government Parliamentary Committee for Home Affairs and Law.
